Multi-Utility Connections – Electricity, Gas, Water & Fibre
Based in Rochester, Kent, and operating throughout the South East, Entity Connect are a NERS, GIRS and WIRS accredited Multi-Utility Connections Provider for new build residential, commercial and industrial developments in the South East.
From initial enquiry, all the way through to final connection and subsequent adoption of the utility networks by the respective network owner, Entity Connect simplifies the process. Our dedicated team take pride in ensuring the utility installations on your development run smoothly, leaving you to focus on other aspects of your development.
We recognise that each development, and indeed each developer, have different needs. By working with developers from the earliest opportunity we actively assist by working with them to produce utility designs which not only work for the development but are to the adopting network owner standards.
Entity Connect have provided us with a fantastic service with both pre-planning works and the on-site work itself saving us a great deal of headache throughout. They have gone above and beyond in providing us with solutions to what has been a complex site and we would thoroughly recommend them.
Once we had chosen Entity Connect we were delighted with the hands-on approach they took and the fact we could ask questions of them and each was answered quickly in a professional manner
Contestable Work
Our NERS and GIRS accreditation allows us to compete for “Contestable” utility works. These are the elements of a utility installation which are open to competition.
These elements can be carried out by either the host utility company or by a suitable accredited Independent Connections Provider or Utility Infrastructure Provider (ICP/UIP). The networks are installed by the ICP/UIP and subsequently adopted by a network owner.
Non-Contestable Work
These are the elements of a utility installation which are not open to competition and can only be completed by the host utility company. We will manage this element on your behalf to ensure any non-contestable works are co-ordinated alongside the overall build plan.
We offer you a single point of contact for all utilities.
Not only does this remove your headache of dealing with multiple separate utility companies, but as a bonus we are also able to offer considerable cost savings in comparison to using the regional utility providers. These savings arise from both physical on and off-site efficiencies as well as from contributions made by IDNOs (Independent Distribution Network Operators) and IGTs (Independent Gas Transporters)
